Fall Linking Party

I am so excited that Fall is here! It is my favorite season of the year. I love the crisp evenings sleeping with the windows open, the changing of the leaves, football season (go Steelers!), and especially Halloween and Thanksgiving. My First Cold of the Year

I knew I was in trouble Friday morning when I felt unusually warm in my typically cool classroom. By 10:00 the sniffles had started and by the end of the day I had my first full-blown cold of the new year! This one hit early, only four weeks into school. Needless to say, I've been trying to get plenty of rest between working on my lesson plans and getting in a little time with family that are in this weekend from across the country. I hope this is it for the year! Ha! Ha! Has anyone else had their first cold of the new school year? Please share!
