Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and welcome! I am Rebecca, or Becca, or Becky... and I'm a first grade teacher from Utah. I love sharing teaching ideas and funny stories that happen in my crazy daily life! I'm so glad you stopped by!

My Favorites:
I love red polka-dots, the color pink, puppies, quilting, photography, growing my own roses, fresh flowers, and creating things. I love hiking the mountains in Utah, and swimming. My favorite treat is Kit-Kat chocolate bars dipped in peanut butter! Yum! You can always convince me to take a weekend road-trip or go out for lunch or dinner.
Advice for Newbies to Blogging:
If you haven't started a blog, or if you are just beginning, remember, "slow and steady wins the race" from the Tortoise and the Hare. Just do a little each week, or as you can, and it WILL pay off!
Also, ask ALOT of questions! Don't hesitate to contact bloggers and ask for help. Everyone is generally eager to help. Stay positive! Try not to compare yourself to anyone else! (That's a tough one for me!) Stay true to yourself and do your best....remember all those little bits of wisdom you give your students or children?? Yah, those! Listen to them and apply them to yourself as you start your journey.
